I didn’t start in marketing. I started building websites just for fun. Word spread to friends and family and I started helping them, too.
Years later, as those same people are all grown up and launching their own businesses, my days of casual website building were behind me but my friends kept running into the same problem: most entry-level websites cost $500–$1,000 a month. When you’re just starting out, that’s a barrier, not a boost, especially for plumbers, electricians, cleaners, landscapers, and other home-service pros just getting off the ground. So I decided to change that.
